LinkedIn Launches Corporate Blog

liblog.gifWe all knew it had to happen sooner or later. LinkedIn has finally launched their official LinkedIn Blog. The blog will be run by blogger Mario Sundar, who came on at LinkedIn in March as their Community Evangelist. In addition to running the LinkedIn blog, Mario is also the main voice of LinkedIn in the various Yahoo! Groups and other communities where LinkedIn is being discussed.

Mario also runs the Marketing Nirvana blog, where he writes about customer evangelism through community. In conjunction with the launch of the LinkedIn blog, he’s posted on Marketing Nirvana about 3 tips before you launch a Corporate Blog.

Mario certainly has the credentials to do this, and LinkedIn has a good history of community outreach. I’m looking forward to even more open communication to the general public through the blog.

    It’s great to be a part of the LinkedIn community, being a customer evangelist myself.

    It’s also nice to see passionate involvement from all the user groups out there.
