Hows this for a challenge – I posted “How Well Do You Really Know And Use LinkedIn?” earlier in the month, and the high-score on the quiz remains 90…
Some think they know enough to use the site effectively and stay out of trouble, and others do know parts of the system, but hardly anyone knows it all;-)
And if you’ve got a complaint about the questions, bring that on too. I’ll be happy to discuss.
To your continued success,

When do you use good and when do you use well?
Hollie,
Interesting question, and perhaps not very specific to LinkedIn – but I notice that you’re not fronting some web link for the attention, so it seems like you really want to know.
So here goes: At the simplest level, good is an adjective and describes a noun, well is an adverb and describes a verb.
Fred received a good grade. (good describes grade)
Mary ran the race well. (well describes how she ran)
Now the proper literary folks might be able to help you through special cases and all sorts of nit picking. My hope is that this simple explanation is good enough for today – search on “good vs well” and you’ll get more to look at;-)

Just registered with LinkedIn 2 weeks ago.. I still have a lot to learn..
LinkedIn can be very confusing at first, but later on you’ll definitely love the site.
Is LinkedIn same as Facebook? How would you know if people on LinkedIn are professionals in a particular field?
Krishna,
LinkedIn is Facebook for professionals. If Facebook is 10% business, LinkedIn is 10% social…
And to answer – you’d know because they would say so on their profile, and you’d see corroborating evidence like recommendations.
