Connections can become a tangled mess. Networking can also. However, the end result may well be worth getting tangled up, metaphorically speaking. I’ve looked at the picture several times. It reminds me of instances where I attended a function, networked well, had a lot of synergy – - and then nothing happened (right away). However, just as there are electrical impuses feeding out from the frenzied core – - months later I would be rewarded for having attended the function and networked with those in attendance. I’ve just finished reading Three Cups of Tea – and Greg tells of instances where it seemed nothing was connecting, only to discover the connection not had been made – - it bore financial support for ikat. Conclusion? Too much energy is better than none.
