Something similar happened to me once, when I first entered the class of students. I wanted to write my name on the board and I started with "profe...", and my mind went blank. For an agonizing moment I was thinking if I should write "professor" or "proffesor". I teach English language.

I think one of the worst things I've seen was a young man who put a link to his Facebook page. Of course, I could have looked him up anyway, but what I saw there was not impressive unless you are looking for someone to coordinate a beer fest.

I know this is an old post, but hey, stupid is eternal. I prefer my lunch to be gin and noon, too, but I doubt I will tell my prospective employer that. Love posts like this, made my day - frederick sallaz

Oh Scott, this is the first thing I've seen that makes me pine for my long-gone recruiter days. The only thing that ever equaled the gaffs in the resumes were the idiocies of the hiring managers, but, of course, those weren't passed around.
