A few days ago, Konstantin Guericke posted on MLPF about “strange searches”, and I posted a few I found. He decided to run a contest to see what searches people could come up with for things that you couldn’t find on LinkedIn.
In honor of Halloween coming up, I thought I’d try a few in the theme, and was surprised what I found. Some of the common terms turned up quite a few results – vampire, ghost, troll, witch, demon, etc. Here are a few of the less common ones:

Forbes published a list this week of The Ten Most Dangerous Online Activities. Now some of these are obvious no-nos, like clicking on e-mail attachments from unknown senders (#1), or surfing gambling, porn or other dicey sites (#5). Others are questionable, like #8 – using any old Wi-Fi network, and #10 – participating in chat rooms or social networking sites. They even chose to single out LinkedIn:
